Tom Wilson is the face of a new trade rumor as it sounds like his days as a Capital is limited.
The Eastern Rival
The recent rumor has the tough forward landing as an member of the Ottawa Senators.
The Capitals seem to want to be move Wilson to the Senators after Elliotte Friedman stated on 32 Thoughts the Podcast earlier this month that Washington had no intentions of trading him.
Tom Wilson
Wilson missed most of last season due to injury but in 33 games the 29-year-old had 13 goals and 22 points.
The former 16th overall pick has made decent progress in the NHL as one of the toughest players to play against, with his big frame Wilson would be a good addition to a young Senators squad.
Wilson has 1 year left at $5.166 million in salary, with this deal he also has a modified-trade clause apart of the deal.
