Maple Leafs Leak Massive Update On Jake McCabe's Injury Status
The Toronto Maple Leafs have finally gotten some injury news today regarding Jake McCabe.
Maple Leafs Core Defenseman Close To A Return
The Toronto Maple Leafs have revealed a possibly major lineup change at practice today. Defenseman Jake McCabe has returned to the ice and has replaced one of the most polarizing players in the lineup.
It looks like Jake McCabe may be ready to return from a groin injury after missing six games
John Klingberg skating on the 4th pair & could be a scratch; on the ice for four goals against last night

McCabe showed that he could provide great defensive stability in the games he has played this season. On the flipside John Klingberg has been a mess defensively and not the offensive powerhouse many had hoped he would be.
Toronto fans have welcomed this change and many of them took to social media to share their joy.
Maple Leafs Fans Rejoice At The News Of A McCabe Return
The Maple Leafs' defense has been a major point of frustration for fans this season. Most of the year and especially recently the team's defense has been well below expectations. The stretch where the defense was at its best was when Jake McCabe was playing.
Now with him potentially returning fans are getting excited.
Klingberg is defensively is somehow undersold - several bad reads that cause a GA that no one else on the D core would make
TOR seemed to be settling well prior to McCabe's injury, which was before the F lines were fixed
4-3 W vs TBL
4-1 W vs WSH
4-1 W vs DAL
With the forward lines now rolling on all cylinders and McCabe the defensive x-factor in many people's minds returning excitement is at an all-time high.
Jake mccabe is really about to save our season. We are so f**king back.
I'm unwilling to concede the season without seeing a long stretch of McCabe and Timmins in the lineup instead of Benoit.and less Giordano
The Leafs have had a disappointing start to their season by their standards. They are still in a playoff spot with the changes on defense and an offense that looks familiar things could be looking up.
Let's all remember that with this group a good regular season is not the goal anymore. As long as the Maple Leafs get themselves in the playoffs then the real pressure mounts for this group.
