PK Subban Under Fire for Celebrating the Hit that Seriously Injured Jaccob Slavin
PK Subban is at the center of yet another controversy. The former player knows how to turn fans against him after he made inappropriate comments about the dangerous hit that sent Jaccob Slavin to the infirmary.
The ESPN analyst shared a video of the collision on Twitter with a caption that was not well-received by the fans.
Minimizing the Violence in Hockey
His comments are simply unacceptable. Not only did he prove that players' health doesn't matter to him, he contributes to the ongoing trivialization of violence in hockey. As if dangerous plays were acceptable because we're in the playoffs...
This shows that even though he's retired, he still can't understand the impact of his words.
Understandably, many fans weren't happy with his comments. Even the Carolina Hurricanes replied to him.
