A scary scene developed during the Washington Capitals game. A Capitals player was left in discomfort after a massive hit.
Capitals Star Knocked Out & Forced To Leave Game
The second period of the Washington Capitals and Edmonton Oilers game led to tragedy for Capitals star TJ Oshie. Oshie was hit hard by Mattias Ekholm while skating up the ice. The hit was inadvertent but dangerous all the same.
T.J. Oshie has gone to the locker room after taking a hit from Ekholm Oshie would go to the locker room to be evaluated. After that evaluation it was determined he would not return to the game.
INJURY UPDATE: #Caps TJ Oshie sustained an upper body injury and will not return to today's game.
To add to the already frustrating night for the Capitals and Oshie they find themselves down 5-0 after two periods. If any more updates become available surrounding Oshie's condition we will pass them along.
