Alex Ovechkin Shows True Class With a Wonderful Gesture After the All-Star Game
Whether you love him or hate him, Alex Ovechkin is the epitome of class. In his 17 years in the league, he has been an exceptional player, but he has also become one of the most well-respected names in the sport.
Being in Washington all this time, he has formed close bonds with some of the reporters. One of those reporters, Samantha Pell, is leaving the beat this week, and Ovi gave her a very special goodbye.
After acknowledging it was her last interview, he went over to give her a hug.
What a classy act by the beloved captain.
