Toronto has not won a first-round series since 2004. Yes 2004!
Head coach Bednar said something very funny during his press conference before Game 2.
Jared Bednar said he spent a lot of time watching the #Leafs in their series against Tampa ahead of the #StanleyCup Final:
«It was a dynamic series. And I see a lot of similarities in the Leafs' players and personnel to ours»
And yet, they still didn't win a round. No matter how much silver lining you throw on that. Even getting respected in the handshake line isn't enough.
The Maple Leafs need to win a round already!
