BREAKING: Alex Galchenyuk finds a new home
Only a month after being arrested in Arizona, Alex Galchenyuk has already signed a contract with a professional hockey team.
Galchenyuk Signs a Deal
The forward agreed to the terms of a contract with Moscow Spartak in the KHL.
"Alex Galchenyuk Jr. is signing with Spartak Moscow (KHL)
Galchenyuk Jr., 29, had zero points through 11 games played with the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) last season. He had 16 goals, 42 points through 42 games played with the Colorado Eagles (AHL).
Galchenyuk Jr. was set to play with Arizona in the NHL this season but was released following an incident where he resisted arrest, threatening an officer's family with m*rder, and hurling racial slurs at him." - Puck Empire
Galchenyuk was also sued by a bank in Montreal because he failed to respect the terms of a contract with them.
It looks like he chose exile.
