Beer League Player Tries to Assert Dominance With a Dirty Cheap Shot
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. Hockey is a very emotional sport. Sometimes, when tensions get high, players resort to violence. However, if these players happen to be in a strictly non-contact senior league, this is obviously the wrong reaction.
In a BC senior men's league, this ridiculous sequence of events occurred:
Crazy stuff in a lower division men's league game in Coquitlam, BC. Player accidentally collided with another player and another player randomly decides to steam roll him with a huge cheap shot as "payback." Even worse, I was told the guy had 3 goals and 1 assist and was playing well below his level.. what a joke.
Definitely an embarrassment for the player
While he may think he's the alpha male now, he's really just getting mocked on the internet!
