Bo Horvat: 'Enough is enough'
The Canucks had a bad season in 2021, finishing last in the Scotia North Division due to injuries and a COVID-19 outbreak near the end of the year. The Canucks have missed the playoffs five times in six seasons, and captain Bo Horvat says "enough is enough".
"I've been on the team for eight years, which is incredible. I want to make the playoffs "Horvat told Drance. "I don't want to go through the motions in April," he added. "I want to be playing in the playoffs, it's when I find I step up my game."
Vancouver's GM Jim Benning has made several signings this off-season. But he's not done yet. Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes are two crucial players on Benning's roster who are still unsigned.
Horvat added, "And I believe we have the team to do it. Now we must prove it. Enough is enough, we can talk all we want, but we have to prove it on the ice."
