The Montreal end their 6 game losing streak tonight vs the Dallas Stars 5-3 in American Airlines Arena.
The biggest reason the Canadiens won tho had to be the play of Goaltender Samuel Montembeault. The Canadiens were outside 51-22 with Samuel Montembeault having the best game of his NHL career at the right time for the Habs.
The Canadiens would strike with 2 goals seconds apart with Christian Dvorak, then Michael Pezzetta lighting the lamp. The Stars would get one back, but then Canadiens responded with 2 more goals back to back.
The Stars would get one back again then Josh Anderson restored the 3 goal lead, the Stars would add one to make it a 5-3 game but that was it.
The Stars outplayed the Canadiens badly but the Habs finished when they had a scoring opportunity and Samuel Montembeault played like he was Carey Price to get Les Canadiens the big win tonight.
