During his post-game press conference, Carey Price began by paying tribute to Mike Bossy and wishing his deepest condolences to the Bossy family and the New York Islanders.
Afterwards, he answered questions from reporters about the day and the game he experienced.
"It was a really nice day, overall. Obviously, the reception (that the fans gave me) was incredible. I was ready to play and the fans were incredible to support us. [...] I felt good (on the Bell Centre ice)." - Carey Price
And he adds:
"(The reception from the fans) was really nice. It was really heartwarming for me (to hear and see them) and I felt really wanted. It was definitely emotional and I really wanted to play well (for them and for my teammates)." - Carey Price
Even though Carey isn't the most expressive guy, it was nice to see him happy and in great shape yesterday.
