Carey Price's wife Angela mocks Pacioretty on social media
The Montreal Canadiens fell to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup semi-finals and will seek to rebound in Game 2 on Wednesday night.
While the Habs may have fallen 4-1, they did demonstrate that they have a winning pest combo in Corey Perry and Brendan Gallagher, known as the NHL's 1-2 Pest Punch. They're both dedicated to the cause and excellent at carrying it out.
Carey Price's wife Angela, who is having fun on social media, can be added to the mix as well.
While she did not go after Max Pacioretty herself, Price's wife made it clear she loves a good laugh at the former Habs captain. A fan made the comment: Pacioretty tripped Perry before the draw and pretended he didn't just like he pretended he didn't ask for a trade.
Angela sent out the laughing emoji. And we love it.
Pacioretty mentioned more than once that he did not want to be traded out of Montreal, however, it was clear in his actions that he was no longer the captain the Habs needed him to be. Montreal shipped away another cornerstone player to the Golden Knights in return for a second-round draft pick, Tomas Tatar, and Nick Suzuki.
There is no doubt the trade ended up being perfect for both teams. However, it is funny to see it remains something the Habs' fans are using to poke fun at Vegas and Pacioretty.
It makes up for a good storyline in this series!
