Rarely does Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux emerge. So when it happens, it's likely for the right reasons.
On Saturday night, Giroux lit up the third period of the Flyers-Bruins game. Giroux was enraged by a late-game call that came during a crucial Flyers power play.
No, it wasn't a normal bad call, but rather a case of the right penalty, wrong team. Giroux was called for a faceoff violation against Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron. Not happy that one of the two centre players took the puck from his hands before he could drop it, the official called the infraction on the wrong player.
