As reported by our colleagues at MarkerZone, Sam Reinhart's older brother Griffin, who was drafted 4th overall in 2012, has announced his retirement.
The 28-year-old former New York Islanders pick in 2012 played just eight games in the NHL.
He was subsequently traded to the Edmonton Oilers.
The return will knock you off your feet.
The Islanders got a first-round pick (who became Mathew Barzal) and a second-round pick in return at the time.
Reinhart went on to play 29 games with the Oilers in 2015-16, picking up one assist.
