The Sabres met with Jack Eichel's new reps for a "introductory meeting." Eichel recently changed his agent and is now represented by Pat Brisson. Brisson and the Sabres reportedly held a meeting recently according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Both parties are attempting to keep things quiet, but there has been no resolution as of yet. Several NHL crises, like many of our own responsibilities, gained traction following Labor Day. Buffalo, I believe, re-engaged with interested teams to get a sense of where everyone stands.
Jack Eichel will get traded very soon, it is just a matter of time. He is a top scorer in the league and a first line center. Any team would love to have him!
We'll see where things go from here.
