Friedman updates us on Kevin Fiala's trade rumours

Friedman addressed the idea on the most recent episode of the 32 Thoughts Podcast, saying that he doesn't believe the Wild will move Fiala merely because he isn't performing up to expectations.
"I don't think he'll trade Fiala because he's having a bad season; if he trades him, it'll be because he feels it will help them," Friedman said.
Friedman does not feel that Wild GM Bill Guerin will adopt a similar approach to Poile and move the 25-year-old, despite the fact that Fiala has already been moved once for posing unique issues.
"He's quite self-assured, there's no doubt about that; sometimes it irritates people, but whatever, I'd rather have someone believe in themselves than not."
