Habs fans deserve explanation from Carey Price

While the NHL has overwhelmingly backed Price, one columnist believes the fans need an explanation.

"Interesting to see whether Carey Price discusses the reasons for his entry into the player assistance program as Jonathan Drouin did," said Jack Todd on Twitter "Rather anticipating that he will not."

Drouin explained his decision to return to the programme, citing nervousness and insomnia as significant causes. When a commenter suggested that Price should be allowed to explain his absence, Todd agreed.

"I don't disagree with that," said Todd. "But when his absence has helped lead to a disastrous start for his team, an explanation is in order."
