With head coach Dominique Ducharme not expected back behind the bench until game three of the Stanley Cup Final after testing positive for COVID-19, there's word this morning a Montreal Canadiens has been placed in protocol. Habs GM Marc Bergevin spoke to media Sunday Morning and explained why Joel Armia is not on the ice for practice.

He did not elaborate but we're left to assume this was a positive test for Armia and they are waiting to test him again to see if it might be a false positive. It has been announced that Armia will not travel with the team to Florida for game one.

Armia has five goals and three assists in 17 games so far in the 2021 playoffs and has played a big part in helping to shut down opponent's top scorers. This would be a big loss for Montreal going forward if he is forced to miss games.
