Hockey Legend Jaromir Jagr Announces Major News
Jaromir Jagr shared some big news earlier today on Instagram.
Jagr's Back
Jagr announced that he's back for another season with Rytiri Kladno, in the Extraliga.
Here's what he said:
"Hi ⭐️. Another hockey season has begun. Now I read that I played for Kladno in the extra league for the first time 35 years ago. It's been a while. But the nervousness, the anticipation before the start... It's still the same. At the ČEZ stadium, we play for the first time tomorrow against the strong Pardubice.
I'm looking forward to hockey and the pre-match program that @kauflandcesko and I have prepared. Among other things, Olga Lounová will perform before the match. She has a nice song about being an eternal optimist. I think we all need a bit of optimism for the season. I believe it will be better than the previous one. And what about you? How are you looking forward to hockey?"
The Journey Continues
Jagr, 51 years old, will start his 35th season in professional hockey.
He left the NHL in 2018 after 1733 games played. He may not have the same speed on the ice, but he remains an incredible player and a leader.
Since leaving the NHL, Jagr has played another six seasons, and while he's not as effective as he once was now that he's 51 years of age, he's still an incredible performer and a leader on the ice.
To say he's a legend in hockey is an understatement.
