There's no doubt that Colorado Avalanche defenceman Bowen Byram could be one of the best in the NHL one day, he had 11 points in 18 games this season. Now his career could be over before it gets going. Bowen suffered a concussion, an injury that has ended many careers and that many players have had to deal with including Sidney Crosby.
Byram has already said he's thinking about life after Hockey in an interview with the Athletic Byram said:
" After I skated, I felt like I was a corpse. I was dizzy, couldn't see It was crazy. It was like somebody was pounding on my head. It was tough, and everything snowballed on top of it."
Today Avalanche head coach Jared said the following:
" I don't know how long he's going to be out for. He didn't play because of personal reasons. That's basically all I know, so will respect that"
We hope that the 20 year old star will recover and have the career he was destined for when he was picked 4th overall in 2019
