The team's record has clearly displeased Kladno supporters, as Jagr himself had to issue a public apology via social media. Fans had been posting on the team's social media sites, requesting trades, firings, and generally screaming for blood.
Jaromir Jagr's response:
I am sad when I read some of your opinions. I understand that you want the team to win, so do I. We have been playing on road for the whole time, the team was put together when most of the free agents signed elsewhere. Eight guys are injured, two others have came back after a month.
Sometimes the fate is not on our side, but I keep fighting and will continue as long as possible. Not for me, but for Kladno.
When I read the comments of some fans I sometimes tell myself if I shouldn't have given up a long time ago so all of us would be at peace, but hockey wouldn't be here, you can bet on that.
