Halak's NHL Career May Be Coming To An End
Over the course of his NHL career, Jaroslav Halak has proven to be a capable goaltender. Last year with the Rangers, Halak played 25 games registering 10 wins, a .903 sv%, and a 2.72 GAA. Despite his solid play, he has yet to find a new NHL team.
He has made his demands known and it may bar him from ever playing in the NHL again.
Will Halak Find A Team?
With it being so late into the offseason, it is difficult to find any team that does not have their starter and backup goaltenders situated already. However, with training camp starting soon, there is always a solid chance somebody goes down with a long-term injury and that would open up a spot for Halak.
He has already played with the Canadiens, Blues, Bruins, Islanders, Capitals, Canucks, and Rangers.
At 38 years old, it is clear Halak still wants to play and try to win his first Stanley Cup.
