Some months back, Kotkaniemi and his team threatened CH management, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
Dreger said: Kotkaniemi claimed he had played his last game for the Montreal Canadiens when he got benched during the Stanley Cup Finals on TSN 690 this morning. He was not kidding.
I guess the Offer Sheet process shouldn't surprise us at all anymore.
