John Tortorella Disses His Players Once Again
John Tortorella has earned himself the reputation of being one of the most outspoken members in hockey coaching. He is incredibly tenured in the position, and has worked with a lot of teams; his current team, however, the Philadelphia Flyers, appear to be his least favourite.
He has called his team, useless, lazy, and �nothing', but he has now added a new word to his repertoire - idiots.
In an interview with Paul Bissonette, Tortorella explained the harsh difference between between today�s NHLers, and the ones from the era he started in.

Tortorella then praised the modern coach for the adaptability they've shown:
«Coaches, we've evolved, I think you have to because I used to be that �dot the I, cross the t' and forecast what the game was going to be before it's played. Now I think you need to allow them to live through some of those mistakes for them to mature.»
Is it maybe less that players are making more mistakes, than that they're trying things players before were too afraid too? Tortorella doesn't seem to want to find out.
