They accidentally revealed who the Coyotes' new captain is.
A writer for NHL.com made a paper on Clayton Keller and called him the team's captain.
There's been no official statment yet, but if it's true, it should come sooner than later after the leak.
We don't know if it's only a mistake or they leaked it by accident, but it makes sense.
There's been no captain in Arizona since Oliver Ekman-Larsson left in 2021. Keller's been there since 2016 and he's been carrying the team on his shoulders ever since. Saying he deserves that title would be an understatement.
He played 442 games for the Coyotes since they drafted him at the 7th overall rank in 2016. He scored 342 points during that time, but most importantly, he remained faithfull to them even if it mustn't have been easy.
This move will certainly help the team. A leader is essential to achieve success, and Keller's a good one!
