The four untouchables: forwards Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, and defenseman Kai Guhle and Alexander Romanov. The remainder of the team should be sold to the highest bidder.
As for Carey, the team would gladly accept a chunk of Carey Price's salary for the last two years of his contract to move him. Fan favourite Brendan Gallagher who re-signed a 6 years contract would be one to get moved as well.
The rest of the roster should be traded if needed.
The devoted crowd should tolerate mistakes made by young players in order to give them more ice time and room on the lineup, according to Brunet from Lapresse.
