The Pittsburgh Penguins' season is officially finished after a 5-3 loss to the New York Islanders in Game 6 this evening. As a result, the Penguins' players, coaching staff, and management group will begin a long, long, long offseason. It'll be a time for self-reflection and introspection during the offseason. "WTF happened!?!?" will be the question on everyone's mind, including the team's players and fans.
In a nutshell, your goalkeeper blew it.
Tristan Jarry, a 26-year-old Penguins goaltender, cost his team the game in Game 5 when he coughed up the puck in overtime. There's no way around it. Just take a look at this blunder:
