"I hope they force u into the sex trade," said former NHLer Brandon Prust earlier this week on Twitter.

Prust tweeted, "I'll be driving tomorrow. I'll lose it if I see another car." "And take your vitamins tomorrow because mine won't work unless you do." He mentioned this about mandated COVID-19 immunizations.

"So enjoy your government-regulated car on government-regulated roads with government-enforced laws! Thank you in advance for driving safely and responsibly." Elizabeth MacAulay was clearly caustic, which irritated Prust.

He added, "So they can make me do anything they want? I hope they force you into the sex trade so you can finally get laid you sheep. You deserve to stay there. No."

"I would like to apologise to the person I replied to," Prust wrote on Twitter on Thursday. "So I can't find her. It was a stupid joke, not meant to offend anyone. I regret my poor word choice. I hope no one is forced into the sex trade!"

On Friday, he apologised and stated that he will be stepping away from social media to focus on being a better person. The whole statement is below.
