Canucks insider Thomas Drance wrote in The Athletic:
"Sources in Pettersson's camp confirmed to The Athletic on Monday evening that the Canucks centre has already departed Vancouver. He's flown to Michigan to be with his teammate and fellow unsigned restricted free agent Quinn Hughes."
"Hughes and Pettersson are both represented by Pat Brisson and J.P. Barry of Creative Artists Agency and are close friends off the ice. They will remain in Michigan together, training and preparing for this upcoming season, as they await a resolution in contract negotiations."
Wow this should get Canucks fans worried. How much is Pettersson demanding from the Canucks.
