Carolina Hurricanes General Manager Don Waddell was interviewed on 99.9 FM The Fan.
He mentioned that the phone is ringing for Max Pacioretty, who has an Achilles tendon injury and will be out for the next six months.
« Waddell tells 99.9 FM The Fan, teams have been calling (for a trade) since the Pacioretty news broke. He does say that he won't do what he did with Kucherov. » - Cardiac Cane
So, Waddell could take advantage of his new player being on the long-term injured list to acquire a player this season.
To be continued.
