Report: NHL to Olympics is a Done Deal

The NHL announced on Sunday that players will travel to Beijing to compete in the Olympics. It's a long-awaited realisation for many admirers.
Sources close to the NHL confirmed to Ken Yaffe of Hockey Wanderlust that the NHL will attend the Olympics.
Of course, if a large COVID-19 breakout occurs, this announcement may be altered, but everyone hopes it stays contained.
The league has been reticent to let its players travel to the Olympics due to injury worries and potential season disruption.
In exchange for other elements like the playoff bubble, the 2020 CBA agreement offered players a best effort to allow them to participate in the Olympics.
It's wonderful news for the NHL, and it appears the best will compete for the gold medal.
