The New York Islanders love to keep everything as close as possible to their chest and this summer has been no different for general manager Lou Lamoriello. While the team was able to unload some bad contracts a couple of different ways, turns out they could be adding some contracts in the very near future.
Kyle Palmieri and Casey Cizikas are apparently done deals when it comes to long-term contracts, meanwhile Travis Zajac and Zach Parise are expected to be announced any day regarding short term deals.
If you are wondering why none of these free agents have signed contracts when there's been hundreds of millions of dollars already shelled out, your answer is everything on Long Island is on Lou Time.
