Earlier today, we reported on Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan's comments that the team was monitoring Jarry's ailment and expected him to miss a week.
The fact that there are only 2 weeks left in the regular season and fewer than 3 weeks until the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs was cause for concern, but the details surrounding this issue may make matters even worse for the Penguins.
According to Mike DeFabo of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Jarry has a broken bone in his foot. This is a major injury that might hurt the Penguins even if it only keeps Jarry out for a while.
