While Kevin Fiala's future with the Minnesota Wild remains uncertain, his name has been mentioned in trade rumours on numerous occasions.
Fiala struggled at the start of the season, and while he seemed unconcerned about his scoring slump, his future in Minny is in doubt due to his one-year deal.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman provided more insights on the matter, speculating that the New York Rangers would be interested in signing Fiala. Friedman believes that if he delivers a good return, the Wild might be interested in moving him.
With Sammy Blais sidelined indefinitely, the Rangers had been rumoured to be hoping for a bump up grade. Fiala might be that upgrade.
