The National Hockey League announced today that the World Cup of Hockey will finally return.
The tournament is expected to be held over 15 days in February 2024.
The last World Cup was held in 2016 in Quebec City and we had the chance to see two particular teams, Team North America (composed of the best North American players aged 23 and under) and Team Europe.
However, both teams are not expected to return. In total, there will be eight teams competing with a possibility of 10.
All indications are that the World Cup will be held every four years.
More details will follow!
