The day before Jimmy Hayes passed away, Kristen took family portraits

Kristen Hayes, the newly bereaved wife of the late Jimmy Hayes, revealed on social media Tuesday night that her family took family photos less than a week before her husband's death.

Hayes, 31, died on Monday morning, according to reports. No cause of death has been published yet, albeit it has been considered non-suspicious. The news has devastated the hockey community, as condolences to Hayes continue to pour in.

Hayes was a former NHLer who last played in 2017-18. From Chicago Blackhawks to Florida Panthers to Boston Bruins to New Jersey Devils, he appeared in 334 NHL games. Our thoughts and prayers are with Hayes' family and friends during this difficult time.
