Chandler Stephenson, who played centre for the Vegas Golden Knights' top line for much of the regular season, has missed the last two games against the Montreal Canadiens. The Knights have declined to disclose why, although Stephenson was injured in the second period of game one, according to a report.

"Multiple sources confirm Chandler Stephenson is NOT with the team in Montreal," said SinBin.Vegas. "He is suffering from concussion-related symptoms on a hit in the 2nd period from Ben Chiarot."

The hit in question appears to be this one, a fairly minor play that Chiarot actually appears to get the worst of.

Stephenson has been a major addition to the Golden Knights since coming over from Washington. He scored 14 goals and 35 points in 56 regular season games this year and has added an excellent physical element to the Knights' game.

With Stephenson not travelling to Montreal with his teammates, his status for game four is very doubtful as well. Montreal currently has a 2-1 series lead in the semi-final round.
