Insider Marc-Olivier Beaudoin proposed a trade via his Twitter account today.
A trade that would allow the Montreal Canadiens to have an impact in the short term, but which, in my opinion, would have a negative impact in a few years.
The idea would be to make a 1 for 1 trade.
In Washington: Joshua Roy
In Montreal: Hendrix Lapierre
Hendrix Lapierre, 20, is a former 1st round pick (22nd overall) and has 21 goals and 30 assists for 51 points in 40 games this season.
Joshua Roy, 18, is a former 5th round pick (150th overall) and recorded 51 goals and 68 assists for 119 points in 66 games in junior.
