TVA Sports hockey analyst Michel Bergeron has put forward a trade proposal for the Montreal Canadiens' first overall pick.
According to Bergy, the Habs should trade the first overall pick for Pierre-Luc Dubois of the Winnipeg Jets.
The basis would be:
To Montreal: Pierre-Luc Dubois
To Winnipeg: First overall pick in 2022
Bergeron believes that involving an undesirable contract, such as Brendan Gallagher's, would be a good idea.
Dubois, 23, has 60 points (28 goals) in 81 games this season and will be a free agent with compensation this summer.
