After a day of silence on the Matthew Tkachuk front, we now know whether the Florida Panthers star will suit up for game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights. Unfortunately for Florida and their fans, the answer is no.
Huge Blow
The size of the blow of losing a player of Tkachuk's calibre in a do or die game simply can't be overstated. This is a massive setback for the Panthers' hope, what little their might be, of eventually forcing a game 7 in this series.
