In case you missed it, on Friday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs were looking to extend their playoffs against the Florida Panthers. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The Panthers jumped to a 2-0 lead, but the Leafs battled back to come within one.
The Leafs appeared to tie the game in the late stages of the 2nd period, but the play was called dead before the puck crossed the line, apparently.
William Nylander forced overtime, but in overtime, Nick Cousins became the hero with a toe drag release, beating Joseph Woll to end the Leafs' season.
However, on the play, Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas was caught blatantly holding Calle Järnkrok's stick on the overtime clincher, and no call was made.
Adding insult to injury, Gudas showed pure disrespect to Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll by screaming in his face, and then the Panthers scored.
