Fans were not too unsurprised to hear this. After all, forcing someone else to wear sports gear of a team they are not a fan of is not exactly a foreign concept. It is quite a common punishment for a lost bet for example. However, this does not make the situation any less funny, as fans saw the humor in it all.
The Stanley Cup will continue tomorrow night as the Oilers attempt to keep their season alive one more time, which would force a game six back in Edmonton.
