Friedman Reveals the Leafs Plan for Their Top Trade Assets
The Maple Leafs absolutely want to create some much needed cap space and they'll do that by trading away players, as well as letting free agents go.
Elliotte Friedman, the famous insider, revealed some major informations concerning a talented young player in the organization.
Robertson to be Traded?
There are some young untouchables within the Leafs, such as Matthew Knies, but Nick Robertson, him, isn't safe.
Per Friedman, if the right real comes along, Robertson could move this summer.
Another Trade Asset
Treliving might consider trading away his 28th overall pick. Even if the Leafs don't have a lot of picks this year, Friedman mentionned that the Leafs are open to trade it.
However, they'd want to use it for a bigger deal, or use someone cheap that could be useful for the Leafs in the long run.
