Renowned Insider Links William Nylander to a Top Team in the Western Conference
Many changes are expected in the Maple Leafs organization and if they decide to move one of the players in the Core Four, none of them would be safe.
Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares and William Nylander all said they wanted to remain in Toronto, but it isn't their decision at this point.
With that in mind, Jeff Marek linked one of them to a team in the West.
Renowned Insider Links Nylander to a Top Team in the Western Conference
Here's what Marek stated:
''There will be a huge market for William Nylander... The one that keeps popping out to me when I think about if the Maple Leafs want to go to market with Nylander is Colorado.''
The uncertainty surrounding both Nichuschkin and Landeskog, two of the Avs' top forward, opens up the possibility for Chris MacFarland to go out and get an interesting player.
The price to acquire Nylander would likely be high, but he has proven his value by scoring 430 points in the 521 NHL games he has played throughout his career.
