Giordano played 38 games in Toronto last season and was a vital piece in shoring up the offense, against a tough to play against Tampa Bay Lightning. Speaking of his defensive capabilities, check out his record.
The journeyman defenseman has been a coup for Kyle Dubas as he got a bargain when he extended him for another year with the organization. Giordano is the kind of defenseman everyone wants, responsible on the ice, contributing to the offense as a puck mover, and devouring time on the ice, during the penalty kill.
Toronto may have missed his prime years as he spent those in Calgary but the tail end seems just as good. It doesn't seem like it's too far off he'll surpass Kris Russell and rightly so, what a beauty.
