BREAKING: Gary Bettman's Recent Announcement Suggests Imminent relocation of the Coyotes
The citizens of Tempe voted yesterday against the building of a new arena. Now that the campaign ended and the Coyotes won't have a new arena in Arizona, everyone's speculating as to what will happen with the franchise.
Gary Bettman and the NHL made a statement about this.
The NHL Isn't Happy With the Results
Here's what the NHL published on their social medias in regard of the outcome of the vote.
''The National Hockey League is terribly disappointed by the results of the public referenda regarding the Coyotes' arena project in Tempe. We are going to review with the Coyotes what the options might be going forward.''
A relocation seems inevitable.
But where will it be? According to many insiders, Houston seems the most probable choice to host an NHL team in the West.
