An NHL veteran has decided to call it quits and retire from hockey for good.
Soderberg Calls It A Career
It was just announced that NHL veteran Carl Soderberg has retired from playing professional hockey.
Soderberg did not play in the NHL till he turned 27 but established himself as a fantastic middle-six option throughout his time in the NHL.
He played for the Bruins, Avalanche, Coyotes, and Blackhawks throughout his 597-game career and scored 297 total points.
He recently played in the SHL but has decided to retire from professional hockey altogether.
He is an icon to any player looking to make the NHL as he had an unconventional path to the NHL and never gave up on making it.
