GM Don Sweeney shares the latest on Brad Marchand's injury
Sam Bennett landed a cheap shot on Brad Marchand in game three of the Panthers series with the Bruins and now Don Sweeney has shared an update on Marchand.
Brad Marchand often draws the attention of fans, the media, and opposing players alike. Many want to punch the Bruins captain in the face and in game three of the Panthers/Bruins series, forward Sam Bennett got away with giving Marchand a jab to the face.
Marchand would later leave this game and then would be sidelined for game four, a 3-2 loss for the Bruins.
Today, Bruins GM Don Sweeney shared an update on the health of Marchand.
"Brad skated today. He'll travel with the team. He's still day to day." - Don Sweeney on Brad Marchand
Game five is set to be played tomorrow in Florida at 7 pm EST and if Marchand is unable to return for it, the chances the Bruins pull off the already improbable 3-1 series comeback is quite low.
