Rumor Links Patrick Kane To An Eastern Conference Team
Patrick Kane might be the best free agent still available on the market. However, a hip resurfacing surgery injury forces him to miss several months, which is probably discouraging a few teams from signing him.
Kane is an NHL legend. The legacy he created in Chicago will live on, and he now wishes to expand his horizons by signing with a new team.
The latest rumor suggests that Kane knows where he wants to play, and it's surprising.
Surprising Team On Top of Kane's List
Patrick Kane apparently wants to play for the Buffalo Sabres!
The Sabres haven't been a true contender since they reached the playoffs for the last time in 2011, and even then, they were eliminated in the first round.
But now, it looks like the Hawks' legend wants to play there.
The New Sabres
Next season, the Sabres could very well come in and take everyone by surprise.
They have good players, and they're always underestimated, making them a real menace in the strong Atlantic Division.
They made interesting picks at the drafts, and players are slowly getting ready to have an impact on the NHL: Jiri Kulich, Devon Levi, Matthew Savoie, Isak Rosen, Ryan Johnson, and Zach Benson.
A legendary veteran like Kane could really help the young players develop. We would love to see that happen!
