Patrick Kane Returns Home To Chicago
Patrick Kane has been the hottest free agent on the market for months. As he nears a return from his rehab he has returned to a familiar city.
Kane Returns To Chicago
A new report has confirmed that Patrick Kane is returning to Chicago. He will be going back to the Windy City after spending the last several weeks training in Toronto. He is expected to use his time in Chicago to recharge and prepare for his return according to Darren Dreger.
Patrick Kane was spotted (in Toronto) on Wednesday... He's going back to Chicago for a bit of a break. But... he's been working out in the Toronto area rehabbing. I'm told that, man, he is on schedule and looks great and feels great.
Everyone is still waiting to find out where Patrick Kane will play his hockey this season. His return to Chicago could give him and his agent some time to go over options while his training is less intense.
Kane Starting To Explore Options
Dreger was also able to provide more information about Kane's potential exploration for his new team. Dreger believes the search will begin in the next week or so.
To the point where his agent is going to start exploring (signing options) in a week to ten days. And once they get through that, they'll follow with interviews and meetings with some of these clubs, before Kane makes his ultimate decision.
The 3 time Stanley Cup champion has been linked to several teams in the past couple of weeks. The most mentioned teams have been the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche.
As the weeks continue to pass by in November more and more attention will need to be paid to Patrick Kane and his movements as he nears a return.
